Below I have compiled a list of the absolute best logo and brand identity design blogs you must follow.
I have provided direct links to their RSS feeds, Twitter and Facebook pages to make it easier for you to subscribe, follow and fan.
Brand New – RSS
Brand New is a blog that operates as a platform for its followers to provide opinions on corporate and brand identity work. It is the spin-off of Speak Up, the previous forum for discussion that was closed a few years ago.
David Airey – RSS Twitter
David Airey is an extremely popular blogger, design author and brand identity consultant located in Edinburgh, Scotland. David is widely regarded as the opinion leader on logo design by much of the online design community.
The Design Cubicle – RSS Twitter Facebook
The Design Cubicle is a blog run by graphic, logo, and web designer Brian Hoff. While being more of a general graphic design blog, this site does have many great articles covering the topic of logo design and brand identity.
Helvetic Brands – RSS Twitter
Helvetic Brands is the site of Swiss-based independent designer, David Pache. The site hosts David’s portfolio as well as an excellent blog featuring many great articles on logo design and branding.
Identity Forum – RSS Twitter
Identity forum has regular contributions from leading designers, identity experts and corporate brand managers. The contributors on this site are some of the most highly regarded in the industry. The wealth of experience shared on Identity Forum means there is a lot to be learned here.
ImJustCreative – RSS Twitter Facebook
ImJustCreative is the online portfolio and blog of Graham Smith, a well-renowned freelance identity designer based in the UK.
Just Creative Design – RSS Twitter Facebook
Just Creative Design is the extremely popular blog of Jacob Cass. This site is filled with many great articles on the topic of logo design. Jacob has a massive following on Twitter, where he shares his insights and quality links.
Logo Designer Blog – RSS Twitter
Another site run by Jacob Cass. Full of great articles on branding, logo and identity design.
Logobird Designs – RSS Twitter Facebook
OK, this is us. Shameful self-promotion…while this blog is relatively new, we have tons of great logo and identity design posts in the pipeline. We appreciate your support!
Logo Design Love – RSS Twitter
Logo Design Love is a website dedicated to logo design. It is another site run by David Airey and contains articles, news and opinions on brand identity. A book based on the website has recently been published where David shares his personal insights and experiences of being a brand consultant.
Logomotives – RSS
Logomotives is the blog of identity designer and author, Jeff Fisher.
Mattson Creative – RSS Twitter
Mattson Creative is the online portfolio and blog of Ty Mattson. Ty is an award winning brand identity specialist and has worked with many high profile clients.
Processed Identity – RSS Twitter
Processed Identity is a site created by experienced visual identity designer Steve Zelle. While it is relatively new, the site already has some outstanding and thoughtful articles exploring identity design.
